The GUBI Chair is based upon an innovative moulding technique using 3D veneer. The chair has developed into a complete collection of chairs and tables in a wide variety of finishes. The comfortable 3D shape of the chair has been transformed into a HiRek version. Unupholstered, front or fully upholstered, with a sledge, swivel or wooden base or four-legged – the GUBI Chair collection offers seating suitable for use in bar, cafes, meeting, lounge and office areas. Today, the chair is part of the permanent display at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
